Core 2 Duo E6850 vs N100 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the N100 is faster than the Core 2 Duo E6850. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core 2 Duo E6850 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core 2 Duo E6850 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Core 2 Duo E6850. Our comparison shows that the Core 2 Duo E6850 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. The info from our database shows that the Core 2 Duo E6850 has more L2 cache than the N100
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Core 2 Duo E6850 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
