Celeron N5095 vs Xeon E5-2620 comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon E5-2620 performs better than the Celeron N5095. Despite this, the Celeron N5095 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon E5-2620 has significantly more cores than the Celeron N5095. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2620 has 6 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Celeron N5095. It also has more threads than the Celeron N5095. A Celeron N5095 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2620 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron N5095 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
