Celeron N5095 vs Core i7-4810MQ benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-4810MQ beats the Celeron N5095 in overall performance. Despite this, the Celeron N5095 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron N5095 has slightly more cores than the Core i7-4810MQ. Indeed, the Celeron N5095 has 4 cores compared to 3 cores found in the Core i7-4810MQ. Despite this, the Core i7-4810MQ has more threads than the Celeron N5095. A Celeron N5095 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i7-4810MQ CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron N5095 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
