Celeron N4120 vs Pentium G3260 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G3260 is faster than the Celeron N4120. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4120 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron N4120 has significantly more cores than the Pentium G3260. Indeed, the Celeron N4120 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium G3260. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3260. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G3260 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4120. A Celeron N4120 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G3260 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron N4120 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
