Celeron N4100 vs Pentium G4400 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium G4400 performs better than the Celeron N4100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4100 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Celeron N4100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G4400 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G4400. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G4400 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4100. A Celeron N4100 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G4400 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron N4100 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
