Celeron N4100 vs Celeron N4500 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron N4100 is faster than the Celeron N4500. Despite this, the Celeron N4500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron N4100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Celeron N4500 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4500. Both the Celeron N4100 and Celeron N4500 have the same clock speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron N4100 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
