Celeron N4020 vs Core m3-6Y30 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core m3-6Y30 is faster than the Celeron N4020. Despite this, the Celeron N4020 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core m3-6Y30 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core m3-6Y30 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Celeron N4020. The Core m3-6Y30 outputs less heat than Celeron N4020 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron N4020 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
