Celeron N4020 vs Celeron N5105 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron N5105 performs better than the Celeron N4020. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4020 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron N5105 has significantly more cores than the Celeron N4020. Indeed, the Celeron N5105 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Celeron N4020. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4020. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Celeron N5105 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4020. A Celeron N4020 CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron N5105 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron N4020 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
