Celeron N4000 vs Ryzen 3 7320U specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Ryzen 3 7320U beats the Celeron N4000 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4000 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 3 7320U has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Celeron N4000 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4000. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 7320U has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N4000. A Celeron N4000 CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 3 7320U CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron N4000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
