Celeron N4000 vs Core m3-6Y30 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Core m3-6Y30 beats the Celeron N4000 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4000 in all gaming tests too.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core m3-6Y30 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core m3-6Y30 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4000. The Core m3-6Y30 outputs less heat than Celeron N4000 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron N4000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
