Celeron N4000 vs Core i9-14900KS specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i9-14900KS is faster than the Celeron N4000. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4000 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i9-14900KS has significantly more cores with 24 cores whereas the Celeron N4000 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4000. Our comparison shows that the Core i9-14900KS has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4000.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron N4000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
