Celeron N3450 vs Pentium G2120 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Pentium G2120 beats the Celeron N3450 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N3450 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Celeron N3450 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G2120 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G2120. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G2120 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N3450. A Celeron N3450 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G2120 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron N3450 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
