Celeron J4125 vs Pentium G3460 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G3460 is faster than the Celeron J4125. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J4125 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Celeron J4125 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G3460 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3460. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G3460 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J4125. A Celeron J4125 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G3460 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron J4125 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
