Celeron J4125 vs Pentium G3220 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Celeron J4125 beats the Pentium G3220 in overall performance. Despite this, the Pentium G3220 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Celeron J4125 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G3220 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3220. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G3220 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J4125. A Celeron J4125 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G3220 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron J4125 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
