Celeron J4125 vs Celeron N4500 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron J4125 is faster than the Celeron N4500. Despite this, the Celeron N4500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron J4125 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Celeron N4500 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4500. Our comparison shows that the Celeron J4125 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4500. The Celeron N4500 outputs less heat than Celeron J4125 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron J4125 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
