Celeron J4105 vs Pentium G860 specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron J4105 performs better than the Pentium G860. Despite this, the Pentium G860 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron J4105 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium G860 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G860. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G860 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J4105.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron J4105 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
