Celeron J4105 vs Core 2 Quad Q6600 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 is faster than the Celeron J4105. Despite this, the Celeron J4105 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Core 2 Quad Q6600 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron J4105. A Celeron J4105 CPU outputs less heat than a Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron J4105 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
