Celeron J3455 vs Celeron E3500 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Celeron J3455 beats the Celeron E3500 in overall performance. Despite this, the Celeron E3500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Celeron J3455 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron E3500 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron E3500. Our comparison shows that the Celeron E3500 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J3455. A Celeron J3455 CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron E3500 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron J3455 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
