Celeron J1900 vs Core 2 Duo E6850 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core 2 Duo E6850 is faster than the Celeron J1900. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J1900 in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron J1900 has significantly more cores than the Core 2 Duo E6850. Indeed, the Celeron J1900 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Core 2 Duo E6850. It also has more threads than the Core 2 Duo E6850. With our hardware info, we find that the Core 2 Duo E6850 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron J1900. A Celeron J1900 CPU outputs less heat than a Core 2 Duo E6850 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron J1900 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
