Celeron G5905 vs Athlon 3000G specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Athlon 3000G is faster than the Celeron G5905. Despite this, the Celeron G5905 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Athlon 3000G has more threads. In terms of clock speed, the Celeron G5905 and Athlon 3000G are identical in this regard. The Athlon 3000G outputs less heat than Celeron G5905 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron G5905 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
