Celeron G550 vs Celeron 7305 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron G550 is faster than the Celeron 7305. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron 7305 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron 7305 has significantly more cores with 5 cores compared to the Celeron G550 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron G550. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Celeron G550 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron 7305. The Celeron 7305 outputs less heat than Celeron G550 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Celeron 7305 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Celeron G550. The Celeron 7305 also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron G550 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
