Celeron G4920 vs Celeron N4100 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron N4100 performs better than the Celeron G4920. Despite this, the Celeron G4920 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron N4100 has significantly more cores than the Celeron G4920. Indeed, the Celeron N4100 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Celeron G4920. It also has more threads than the Celeron G4920. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron G4920 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N4100. The Celeron N4100 outputs less heat than Celeron G4920 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Celeron G4920 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
