Celeron G3930 vs Celeron G4920 comparison

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Celeron G4920 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron G3930. A Celeron G3930 CPU outputs less heat than a Celeron G4920 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Celeron G4920 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron G3930 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
