Celeron G3920 vs Core i5-750 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-750 is faster than the Celeron G3920. Despite this, the Celeron G3920 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-750 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Celeron G3920 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron G3920. Our comparison shows that the Celeron G3920 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-750. A Celeron G3920 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-750 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron G3920 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
