Celeron G3920 vs Celeron N4120 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron N4120 is faster than the Celeron G3920. Despite this, the Celeron G3920 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Celeron N4120 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron G3920 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron G3920. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron G3920 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N4120. The Celeron N4120 outputs less heat than Celeron G3920 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron G3920 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
