Celeron G1610 vs PRO A8-8600B benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron G1610 is faster than the PRO A8-8600B. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the PRO A8-8600B in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the PRO A8-8600B has more threads. Our comparison shows that the Celeron G1610 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the PRO A8-8600B. The PRO A8-8600B outputs less heat than Celeron G1610 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Celeron G1610 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
