Celeron E3500 vs Pentium E5400 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium E5400 is faster than the Celeron E3500. Despite this, the Celeron E3500 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. In terms of clock speed, the Celeron E3500 and Pentium E5400 are identical in this regard. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Pentium E5400 has more L2 cache than the Celeron E3500

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron E3500 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
