Celeron 1037U vs Xeon E5-2676 v3 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-2676 v3 is faster than the Celeron 1037U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron 1037U in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon E5-2676 v3 has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Celeron 1037U has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron 1037U. A Celeron 1037U CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-2676 v3 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron 1037U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
