Celeron 1005M vs Celeron J1900 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron 1005M is faster than the Celeron J1900. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J1900 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Celeron J1900 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron 1005M has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron 1005M. Our comparison shows that the Celeron J1900 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron 1005M. The Celeron J1900 outputs less heat than Celeron 1005M thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron 1005M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
