Athlon Silver 3050U vs N95 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the N95 is faster than the Athlon Silver 3050U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Athlon Silver 3050U in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the N95 has significantly more cores than the Athlon Silver 3050U. Indeed, the N95 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Athlon Silver 3050U. It also has more threads than the Athlon Silver 3050U. With our hardware info, we find that the Athlon Silver 3050U has a slightly higher clock speed than the N95. In terms of cache, the N95 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Athlon Silver 3050U. The N95 also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Athlon Silver 3050U has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
