A8-9600 vs Xeon E5-440 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-440 is faster than the A8-9600. Despite this, the A8-9600 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the A8-9600 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-440. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Xeon E5-440 has significantly more L2 cache than the A8-9600
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A8-9600 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
