A8-9600 vs Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE performs better than the A8-9600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-9600 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A8-9600 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A8-9600. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A8-9600 has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A8-9600 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
