A8-9600 vs Core i7-3630QM specs and performance

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-3630QM performs better than the A8-9600. Despite this, the A8-9600 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores but the Core i7-3630QM has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-9600 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-3630QM. In addition, both chips have the same turbo speed.
