A8-7650K vs Celeron G5905 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Celeron G5905 is faster than the A8-7650K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-7650K in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the A8-7650K has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Celeron G5905 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A8-7650K. The Celeron G5905 outputs less heat than A8-7650K thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the A8-7650K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
