A8-7600 vs Xeon X5570 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon X5570 is faster than the A8-7600. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-7600 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon X5570 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the A8-7600 that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the A8-7600 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon X5570. Also, the A8-7600 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A A8-7600 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5570 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A8-7600 has more L2 cache than the Xeon X5570
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the A8-7600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
