A8-7600 vs N100 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A8-7600 performs better than the N100. Despite this, the N100 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A8-7600 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-7600 has a significantly higher clock speed than the N100. In terms of cache, the A8-7600 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the N100
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the A8-7600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
