A8-7600 vs Celeron J6412 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the A8-7600 beats the Celeron J6412 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J6412 in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Celeron J6412 has significantly more cores than the A8-7600. Indeed, the Celeron J6412 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A8-7600. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-7600 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron J6412. The Celeron J6412 outputs less heat than A8-7600 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A8-7600 has more L2 cache than the Celeron J6412

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the A8-7600 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
