A8-6410 vs Pentium G2030 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G2030 is faster than the A8-6410. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-6410 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A8-6410 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium G2030 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G2030. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium G2030 has a significantly higher clock speed than the A8-6410. A A8-6410 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G2030 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A8-6410 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
