A8-6410 vs Pentium B940 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium B940 is faster than the A8-6410. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-6410 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A8-6410 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium B940 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium B940. According to our data, the A8-6410 and Pentium B940 have the same clock speed. A A8-6410 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium B940 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A8-6410 has more L2 cache than the Pentium B940
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A8-6410 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
