A8-6410 vs Celeron N3450 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron N3450 performs better than the A8-6410. Despite this, the A8-6410 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-6410 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N3450. The Celeron N3450 outputs less heat than A8-6410 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A8-6410 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
