A6-9225 vs Celeron N4020 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A6-9225 performs better than the Celeron N4020. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4020 in all gaming tests too.

Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-9225 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron N4020. The Celeron N4020 outputs less heat than A6-9225 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-9225 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
