A6-9225 vs A8-6410 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A6-9225 performs better than the A8-6410. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-6410 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A8-6410 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-9225 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-9225. Our comparison shows that the A6-9225 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A8-6410. Also, the A6-9225 has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A8-6410 has more L2 cache than the A6-9225

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-9225 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
