A6-7400K vs Celeron J3455 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the A6-7400K beats the Celeron J3455 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J3455 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Celeron J3455 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-7400K has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-7400K. Our comparison shows that the A6-7400K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron J3455. The Celeron J3455 outputs less heat than A6-7400K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-7400K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
