A6-7310 vs Pentium E5400 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-7310 is faster than the Pentium E5400. Despite this, the Pentium E5400 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the A6-7310 has significantly more cores than the Pentium E5400. Indeed, the A6-7310 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium E5400. It also has more threads than the Pentium E5400. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium E5400 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A6-7310. A A6-7310 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium E5400 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the A6-7310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
