A6-7310 vs A8-6410 comparison

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-7310 is faster than the A8-6410. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-6410 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. Both the A6-7310 and A8-6410 have the same clock speed. The A8-6410 outputs less heat than A6-7310 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-7310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
