A6-6400K vs Celeron N4000 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-6400K is faster than the Celeron N4000. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron N4000 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Celeron N4000 has significantly more cores with 2 cores whereas the A6-6400K has 1 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the A6-6400K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4000. The Celeron N4000 outputs less heat than A6-6400K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the A6-6400K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
