A6-6310 vs Pentium 3825U specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-6310 is faster than the Pentium 3825U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium 3825U in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the A6-6310 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 3825U has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium 3825U has a slightly higher clock speed than the A6-6310. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the A6-6310 has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium 3825U
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-6310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
