A6-6310 vs EPYC 7543P benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the EPYC 7543P performs better than the A6-6310. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-6310 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the EPYC 7543P has significantly more cores with 32 cores compared to the A6-6310 that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-6310. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the EPYC 7543P has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the A6-6310. Also, the EPYC 7543P has a significantly higher turbo speed. A A6-6310 CPU outputs less heat than a EPYC 7543P CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the EPYC 7543P has more L2 cache than the A6-6310

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-6310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
