A6-6310 vs Celeron N4500 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron N4500 performs better than the A6-6310. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-6310 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A6-6310 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Celeron N4500 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron N4500. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-6310 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Celeron N4500. The Celeron N4500 outputs less heat than A6-6310 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the A6-6310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
