A6-6310 vs A6-9220 comparison
In our benchmarks, the A6-6310 beats the A6-9220 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A6-9220 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the A6-6310 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-9220 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-9220. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-9220 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the A6-6310. Also, the A6-9220 has a slightly higher turbo speed. Both these chips have an identical TDP (Thermal Design Power). This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the A6-6310 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the A6-9220
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-6310 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
